1/3 What a cracker. The Wonderland Trail is one of North America's classic walks. Encircling Mount Rainier, it traverses through lowland forest, sub-alpine meadow and over occasional snow and rock, taking in 93 miles of superb scenery. The guide advises "Mount Rainer National Park contains some rugged terrain. Hardly a trail in the park does not include a steep climb or descent. Don't be too ambitious in your planning".
